Overall, the song is all about prioritizing self-love. This can be drawn from the lines, "Pag-ibig muna, para sa akin" and "Ako muna." The song also tells us that it is better to be alone in order to truly find or know yourself first. This is supported by the lines, "Mabuti nang mag-isa, Nang makilala ko muna ang sarili." The song also showed the idea of loving yourself first before others and this can be seen from the lines, "Paano ko magmamahal, Kung 'di ko kayang mahalin ako."

Self-love is a must. As simple as it is, others seem to forget or neglect from doing so. They tend to prioritize their partner or the other person in the relationship over themselves. As a result, they are left empty and may even lead in ending the said relationship. Thus, never forget to love yourself first since you cannot give something that you do not have.

Also, not being in a relationship is not a bad thing or something to be ashamed of. With this, you are able to develop and nurture yourself before you wholeheartedly enter a relationship.
