Answer the following in at least 5 sentences.

1. Why is the title called "Chameleon"?

A chameleon can change its color in order to camouflage itself with its environment or surroundings. Just like a chameleon, Cam also changes not only her appearance but also her behavior to match and be more compatible with her partner. She matched their clothing, hobbies, interests, and way of speaking, as a chameleon changes its color to its surrounding. This can be seen in the different situations where she was with her partner in the said dining establishment. Also, the name "Cam" was a wordplay derived from the word "Chameleon." This draws the reasons for the title of the video.

2. Which specific instances in the video showed that Cam lost herself?

Cam lost herself the because of her own problematic behavior of matching her partner's appearance and behavior. This can be seen in the moment she got with her first partner as they were ordering in the featured establishment. She then continued this behavior of matching her partner such as in her second and third partner in the same establishment. She realized this after her breakup with her third partner, as she was facing her mirror and can no longer remember who she really was. Reminiscing her old photos with her partners and seeing how she had changed for each of them further made her realize that she had lost herself.

3. Why is it important to know yourself first? How does it affect your relationships with: a) yourself; and b) others?

It is important to know yourself first even if you do not have a personal relationship with anyone. It is necessary to do so in order to assess your own wants, needs, aspirations, and behavior. This is beneficial for your relationship with yourself since this enables you to focus on in improving those aspects that needs to be improved or those that you just genuinely want to improve. 

This is act of knowing and improving oneself is also beneficial for others, especially in terms of relationships. This gives the people involved in the relationship a sense of contentment and pure satisfaction since someone was able to accept them for who they are. Moreover, this makes them have a sense of independency and individuality. It is necessary to have these characteristics since this enables the partners to help one another in further improving themselves and providing for each other.

4. What are your important realizations/learnings from the video?

You do not have to match your partner for compatibility. You do not have to match their appearance or behavior or change yourself in order to hold the relationship together. Doing so will cause you to lose your own identity, your own wants and needs in the relationship, your goals or aspirations, leaving you empty inside in the end. This behavior is not healthy and usually causes the relationship to end or be terminated.

Just be yourself and find or wait for someone who will accept your appearance and behavior, your quirks, your flaws and imperfections, and your pros and cons.  Look for someone who will accept and love you for you are.
